Johnny Appleseed stopped by the Nature Center last week, carrying along his sachel filled with apple seeds! The kids loved listening to him tell tales of how he journeyed across the midwest into the east coast, planting apple orchards along the way and selling seedling trees to settlers. He reminded the children of how important it is to plant seeds of kindness, generosity, and God's love as well.
