At Co-op today we celebrated Valentine's Day during our book class rotation. Our newest member, Tammy, did a fabulous job planning this special time. Here is a short summary:
Exchanged Valentine cards with each other.
Completed some "love" sword drills (I John 4:19-21, Mark 12:30-31, I Corinthians 13:4-7) and explained how God is the Author of love, etc.
Played the heartbeat game which consisted of 5 motions that we all had to chant through and do together as a team!
Played a Valentine skating game (much like musical chairs - pretended to skate around until music stopped......)
Enjoyed a Higbee homemade cookie :) while they did some "word activities" with Mrs. Caterer

"This was our family's way of sending some "love" to you all - we are thankful to have found such a special homeschool group!
Took their valentine containers full of Valentines home to read and enjoy!
